The Results

Overall studies have shown that in hallux valgus surgery satisfactory results can be achieved in over 90% of cases and even in active patients in their 70s and 80s. Complications are uncommon but include wound healing problems, joint stiffness, and lesser toe transfer metatarsalgia.
